The Jeffrey Vallance Collection
Herb Lane Museum is very fortunate to
open the Gran Mondo Foundation Jeffrey Vallance Collection to the public.
Jeffrey Vallance grew up in Canoga Park, where he built amazing models and
machines. His Cultural Ties mail art project broke international boundaries
and his current works, spanning conceptual art, traditional painting and
writing, continue to intrigue. He has recently curated shows at the Clown
Museum and the Liberace Museum in Las Vegas. Currently, Jeffrey travels
the world making art and teaches at University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
The Gran Mondo Foundation Jeffrey Vallance Collection encompasses works mailed by Jeffrey to Laurie O'Connell throughout 1977-1979, when he and members of World Imitation met while attending California State University, Northridge.
This exhibit is in progress.
